| Best Qualifying Questions To Ask Your Customers Are there questions you can ask your customers that will force the customer to literally sell themselves? Sure. These are qualifying questions designed to reveal what the customer really wants, at a price that won't send them screaming in terror. For example; "What are you using now?", " What do you like most about it?", "What would you like changed in your next (whatever)?" Now listen. Don't interupt. They are going to tell uyou everything they like & don't like. Now just show them something that has what they like & not what they don't like. Simple, Eh? Ask product specific questions. For example, if you sell vacuum cleaners; "Do you have mostly carpet or bare floors?", "Do you have carpeted steps?", "Do you have pets that shed?". These kind of questions create credibility in the mind of the customer. They create the image that you are an authority. Your recomendation will have more value to the customer. After you get these answers, your customer won't have a reason to not buy, because what you show them will have exactly what they want. There are also questions you need to ask yourself when selling. I'll be covering those in the July issue of the Unfair Advantage Retail Newsletter.
