| Multiple Streams of Income; Diversify your offers and build wealth faster How many customers do you have? I mean the ones who bought something that requires a warranty? How many do you have the name and address Let's say you just said "a thousand". Which is harder; Finding your next thousand customers, or finding one more product to sell your first thousand? Presenting a second profitable product to your established customer list is infinitely easier, quicker, and more profitable, than finding your next thousand buyers. These people (your established buyers) are already sold on you, your service, and your store. 90% of the marketing has already been done. For Example; We sell vacuum cleaners. After someone buys a high end vacuum cleaner, now what? Hope to sell them bags and filters for therest of their lives? Sure, but how about this... We offer them the next big thing! At our store we offer vacuum cleaners, ceiling fans, heaters, and air purifiers. All of which sell for at least $500. We have many customers who have bought everything we sell. The only thing keeping me from adding another product is sheer laziness. Diversity creates an automatic market- Your established buyers. Another big advantage of diversifying your product line is...... Diversity Creates Stability. What if markets change? What if a product becomes unpopular or obsolete? What if we went back 20 years...... " Claude, that diversification thing sounds all well and good, but my typewriter repair business is going pretty strong........" Well, you get the idea.
